   PATTERN, BAS RELIEF: "Innies & Outies"   An "Innie" or "Outie". The "Innie"  has a shiny surface with the design below the surface, into the glass.  The "Outie" or Bas Relief tile has the design in relief, and a pebbled surface.  You are NOT limited to the patterns or designs shown.

METAL INCLUSIONS: 24k GOLD, .99 SILVER, PALLADIUM, COPPER, STAINLESS STEEL. Each of these metals brings it's own unique properties to inclusion in glass. They all have peculiarities in behavior and design challenges. We take foils, threads, sheets, and spatters of these metals and turn them into design elements in our products.

CASTINGS: The most amazing pieces we produce. We make a model or sculpture out of wax or clay, sometimes using actual organic matter such as vegetables, make a master mold then tweak the master and make the needed number of molds for the client's installation. We then use the Pate de verre  - or glass paste method of layering in small pieces of glass frit where the colors are needed.

 

 

 

*    We offer color matching service in extra hard enamel. The enamel color backed tiles may not be used in wet installations, as the enamel is only a surface applied coating and the tile will peel off when wet. (NO pools, spas, showers, tubs, unprotected out door surfaces, etc. for enamel backed tile.) Used as accents or in dry situations, kitchens, floors,  bath walls that don't get wet, etc, they perform well.  Use any of our other glass tile for wet applications.
